Delilah Ehlers is a 19-year-old high school senior catapulted into a world of the unknown after becoming the victim of a murder on a seemingly random Wednesday night. Just when it seems like Delilah's end is in sight, she is rescued and taken in by a kind man, Dawson, after waking up stranded on the roadside.

Delilah appears to have great luck as her savior happens to have an abundance of wealth. Dawson gifts her a home and caretaker. However, as time passes, she notices Dawson may know more about why Delilah is in this strange new world.

With the help of her friend and bodyguard, Bennet, she begins to piece together Dawson's mysterious past. Delilah begins to realize he is no stranger to her and never has been.
